Learning and Development (L&D), sometimes referred to as training and development, is a specialized and vital HR function established to refine and employee skills sets, therefore positively affecting their performance and the organizations bottom line. L&D plays a key role in aligning individual and team goals and performance with the organization’s overall vision and goals.

We are excited to announce our first-ever Virtual Learning & Development Exchange being held on August 19, 2020! Developing HR Fundamentals
NEHRA’s virtual Developing HR Fundamentals Program provides HR professionals who are new to the field, are moving from a specialist to a generalist role, or who work within smaller organizations and wear many hats, with a solid foundation for a well-rounded career in human resources. The class consists of four modules, one being Talent Management. The Talent Management session provides a foundation for managing talent within the organization and covers the role of HR in talent management. Participants will learn best practices, tools and techniques around workforce planning, talent acquisition and employee development.
