Recap of the H-1B Cap Season, and Updates to Employment Rules for Foreign Students in the U.S.
Presented by Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP

Program Overview:

Join us for a comprehensive analysis of the Fiscal Year 2017 “Cap Season.”  In addition to reviewing the year’s H-1B Cap lottery results, and current government processing trends, this presentation will provide recommendations for employers on how to most effectively respond to Request for Evidence notices in association with Cap filings. This presentation will close with a discussion of the very recent changes to the rules surrounding the Optional Practical Training employment of foreign students that have completed studies in the U.S., who are holding degrees in “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
