Beyond the Basics Individual Session: Benefits Strategy & Design


Program Overview:

Explore all aspects of benefit plan design, including how to align your offerings with the organizational strategic objectives. We'll cover key components of how to successfully transition from being a content expert to a more strategic role, by helping you understand the big picture implications of changes in benefit plan design.




Phil Bean, Senior VP, Hays Companies


Phil Bean is currently Senior Vice President of Hays Companies. Phil has 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, including nine years with AIG and six years with Allianz in various capacities including underwriting, business development and sales management. Since 2009, Phil has functioned as a broker and consultant of Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty solutions, assisting businesses with improving and managing their health and welfare and commercial insurance programs.


Phil has a BA from the University of Delaware and holds life, health, accident, property and casualty insurance licenses.


He teaches the Benefit Strategy & Design module of NEHRA's Beyond the Basics program.
