Josh Combest, Senior Consultant, MCG Partners
Josh is a Senior Consultant with MCG Partners, a woman-owned, management consultancy specializing in leadership development, executive coaching, management training, team and organizational effectiveness solutions.
Josh provides advisory and consulting services, delivers customized training programs, and assists our PI® clients with talent management, selection, onboarding, team building, management effectiveness and performance management needs. Joshua brings over a decade of customer service and human resource expertise including creative problem solving, talent acquisition, on-boarding, training, and process creation.
Josh most recently worked as the People Strategy Manager for ObserveIT, a VC-funded, insider threat security software company. In this role, he was responsible for the complete Human Resources function and worked directly with the CEO to develop and maintain a vibrant company culture.
Previously, Josh was a Human Resource Coordinator for The Boston Solar Company, a solar sales and installation company. In this role, he built out the HR function and handled recruiting, new hire assimilation, disciplinary actions, manager training, and benefits enhancements.
Josh’s began his career working on a farm in the Midwest and has continued to grow through a variety of industries and responsibilities, each building upon the last. He came to the Boston in 2009 and has grown his customer service and client focused Human Resources roles to become a valued asset to the leadership teams he has served.
Josh is a certified Analyst in the Predictive Index® (PI®) and an active member of several Human Resources communities including NEHRA and SHRM. Josh is passionate about helping people and finding creative solutions to dynamic organizational challenges. Josh is an active member of the community volunteering for several organizations like Zoo New England and New England Baptist Teen Camp. When he is not working, Josh is an avid outdoorsman who loves to spend summers fresh water fishing and hiking.
