Hiring top performers who not only have the skills and experience required for the job, but who are also driven and motivated by the work they are being asked to perform is a time consuming process that can often feel like a game of chance.  Resumes are screened, interviews are scheduled, but unless you are able to truly understand what drives and motivates each candidate, you are most likely gambling on whether the candidate you select is the right fit for the job and your organization.

How can you better understand what drives and motivates your candidates and employees?  By using tools such as the Predictive Index® (PI) behavioral assessment, you can tap into the information that isn’t easily obtained by looking at a resume or asking questions.

Erinne Tripp, Director of Client Services, will share insights and have a dialogue with client, Miriam Macedo, HR Manager / Talent Acquisition & Development at Virtual, Inc. on how using PI has significantly improved their selection process and more.   



Erinne Tripp  is the Director of Client Services for MCG Partners, a woman-owned, management consultancy specializing in leadership development, executive coaching, talent management, organizational effectiveness, management training, and career management solutions.

Erinne provides advisory and consulting services, delivers customized training programs and assists our PI® clients with talent management, selection, onboarding, team building, management effectiveness and performance management needs. Erinne brings over 20 years of human resource expertise including professional development, coaching, talent acquisition, on-boarding, training, and performance management.

Previously Erinne worked as a Senior Recruiter for Analysis Group, Inc., an economic, financial and business strategy consulting firm. In this role Erinne managed the candidate selection process for 10 offices in the U.S. and Canada.
Prior, Erinne was a Human Resource Associate and Senior Recruiter for The Baupost Group, LLC, an employee owned hedge fund sponsor. In this role Erinne provided career development and performance coaching, recruiting, new hire assimilation and assisted with the annual performance review process.

Erinne started her career in human resources at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a multinational professional services network offering auditing, accounting and assurance services. During the first five years with PwC, Erinne focused on talent acquisition. Following her work in recruiting, Erinne took on a role in human resources where she focused on employee relations, performance management and professional development coaching.

Miriam Macedo is a Human Resources Manager with association management leader Virtual, Inc. As a young professional, Miriam’s early career has been spent exploring talent acquisition and development while also focusing her efforts on continued and improved employee engagement initiatives to help build a strong company culture. Her areas of expertise include strategic recruitment, talent acquisition, employee engagement, training & development, and communication. Her work with global and multicultural organizations has included conducting assessments, diversity training, leadership development, and implementation of strategic plans.

Originally from Brazil, Miriam is passionate about traveling and interacting with multiple cultures. She draws inspiration through diversity and is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. Miriam received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in International Business from Salem State University. She also is a certified Analyst in the Predictive Index® (PI®) and holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Kaplan University.

Miriam is an active member of her community, having volunteered with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and The Relay for Life. She lives with her husband and dog just outside of Boston, MA.
