BREAKFAST WORKSHOPS

These workshops are held throughout the eastern Massachusetts area including the Rte 128 belt, North Shore, South Shore, Worcester, Rte 495 belt and occasionally in the Providence RI area.  Presentations are approximately 70 minutes long and do not offer any fee or honorarium nor are expenses paid.  Formats can be single speakers, multiple speakers or panels.  Proposals are accepted year-round.

SEMINARS

These programs are topic specific and run from half to three-quarters of a day.  They are most often held at facilities along the central Rte 128 belt.  Seminars can feature one speaker for the entire program, multiple speakers running successively, or a keynote presentation followed by multiple concurrent sessions.  Topic areas include: metrics, benefits, legal and legislative, diversity and international/global issues.  Proposals are accepted year round.  Most seminars do not offer an honorarium, but reasonable expenses may be covered.  Depending on the format, some seminars may offer limited speaker fees, and may cover  reasonable travel expenses.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR SERIES

These are day-long (6 hours) seminars held in a conference center setting, which are intended to be in-depth and interactive learning experiences.  Participants expect to gain/improve skills that will make them more effective at the job.  Speakers must have experience presenting day-long programs.  There is an honorarium of $1000 for a single speaker or $1500 to be divided among multiples speakers.  Overnight accommodations and reasonable travel expenses are covered.  Proposals are accepted year-round, however, seminars are planned in six month segments in May and October.

CONFERENCE SERIES - LEARNING LABS

The NEHRA Conference Series consists of three one-day conferences held in the fall, winter and spring at various locations in the greater Boston area.  The objective of the Conference Series is to provide a full spectrum of educational sessions and resources, from current best practices to emerging trends in Human Resources.   Each conference consists of approximately twelve 90-minute Learning Labs.
