Program is comprised of 6 modules (3 covered each day)
Introduction to the HR Profession
definition of human resources management, the roles and responsibilities of HR
professionals, and how strategic planning and HR planning fit together.
Employment Law Basics
key pieces of federal, state and local legislation with which an organization
to evaluate recruiting methods and their effectiveness, explain how the
selection process works, and learn how to analyze and evaluate job applicants.
- Compensation and Benefits/Total Reward Basics
basic elements of a total compensation system, including understanding the role
of base pay, incentives, and differentials in employee compensation. Take a
look at benefits commonly offered by employers.
- Employee Relations Basics
basics of maintaining employer-employee relationships that contribute to
satisfactory productivity, motivation, and morale. Learn how to prevent and
resolve problems involving individuals which arise out of or affect work
- Talent Management Basics
will cover the processes used to identify, encourage, measure, evaluate,
improve and reward employee performance. Learn common appraisal processes and
systems, as well as common appraisal errors. Learn how to conduct effective
disciplinary meetings and legal issues to consider during employee
