JESSYCA FELICIANO,CDR,M.Ed.

  

In her role at State Street as a Senior Diversity Sourcing Consultant, she supports business partners within corporate functions to plan and direct strategies, programs and processes for attracting, selecting and onboarding top diverse senior level talent across the organization. She also serves as the interim co-chair of State Streets Global Pride Employee Resource Group. She combines her strengths and passion for diversity and inclusion and her relationships and networks to successfully leverage resources and human capital to develop and implement progressive and creative initiatives.  She balances her drive for results with her ability to cultivate strong professional and personal business relationships that endure.

Prior to joining State Street, Jessyca held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate and non-profit organizations most recently with Liberty Mutual as an HR Generalist supporting corporate functions and served on the Leadership team of the Pride at Liberty Employee Resource Group.  She started her career in Social Work working with at risk youth in underprivileged communities which is still something close to her heart.

 

Jessyca earned a Master of Education with a focus on Organizational Development and Leadership from Cambridge College’s Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College.  She has been trained as a Predictive Index Analist and a Paper Room Coach. In October of 2013 she stepped into the role of Vice President of Memberships with ALPFA Boston and in January of 2015 joined the Executive Committee as the Chief Communications Officer for the Boston Chapter. In October 2015, she began her term as the new Boston Chapter President for ALPFA. ALPFA’s Boston Chapter is one of the largest Leading Chapters with over 8,000 members and more than 40 corporate partners and 13 student chapters. As the President, Jessyca will lead the Board of Directors and the Corporate Advisory Board and Chapter staff to continue enhancing program services, expand membership and ensure the Chapter provides great value to its members, corporate partners, the student chapters and the Greater Boston Community.



Michelle Figueiredo is an Asst. Vice President in Global Services at State Street Corp. She is the only known out transgender person at State Street. She began her career with State Street in 2001 and has been an employee of State Street for  15+  years. Since coming out as a transgender woman in 1998, Michelle has been an active member of State Street Global Pride and friends as a Steering Committee Member/ Consultant. At times, Michelle has been on the boards of both SpeakOUT Boston and MassEquality Education Fund, and is an active public speaker for State Street Global Pride and Friends,  PFLAG, and SpeakOUT Boston, sharing her story and experiences as an out trans woman in the financial industry. Michelle graduated UMASS Dartmouth in 1998 with a BS in Marine Biology. She grew up in Cohasset, MA and presently lives in Hull, MA with her puppy Sylvia.
