John Koester, PHR
John Koester has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with the past 14 leading HR functions for companies ranging from 50 to 700 employees in industries such as professional services, non-profit social services, and technology. John has been responsible for both the day to day performance and strategic oversight of all facets of the HR function, with a particular emphasis on talent acquisition and management, and employee engagement.
John was part of the committee that conceived of and created both the HR Basics and Beyond the Basics programs for NEHRA. In the Beyond the Basics program he created and teaches the Employee Engagement Module and has served as an instructor for the Employee Relations module, and has taught the Talent Management module for the HR Basics program. John holds an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Emmanuel College and a B.S. in Management from Keene State College.
