Smart
organizations know that addressing issues of diversity and inclusion is both a
business imperative and a core element of an organization’s ability to remain
innovative and competitive. Many companies now approach the implementation of
diversity and inclusion strategies not as just a cost center, but as a profit
center.
This
interactive workshop will provide participants with answers to the following
questions:
- What are the
current trends shaping HR’s role regarding diversity and inclusion
initiatives?
- What
differentiates the best HR leadership regarding diversity and inclusion
Initiatives?
- How can HR
leaders use insights gained from their own experiences to further
development the competencies necessary to lead diversity and inclusion
initiatives?
- How can HR
leaders position diversity and inclusion initiatives as a profit center to
create a competitive advantage for their organizations?
Presenter’s Bio:
Robert has
a combined thirteen years of experience functioning as a Diversity and
Inclusion Manager at the director’s level, during which time he developed a
keen ability to effectively engage all internal stakeholders. He has been
directly responsible for the full scope of diversity and inclusion work
including assessment of organizational culture, strategic planning, oversight
of support mechanisms for workforce diversity, cultural competency development,
and the research, design, and facilitation of related training and
programming.
Robert is
currently an Independent Consultant and a Sales & Training Executive
for Ibis Consulting Group. As a consultant and
trainer, Robert has worked with a broad range of clients
(for-profits, non-profits, state agencies, schools and colleges) providing
consultation, and designing and facilitating effective training programs
tailored to address their most pressing leadership, organizational, and
